2-4-6 Box

I love this project because it's so easy to put together and doesn't take a lot of supplies. The best part is the matching chocolates! Stamp on computer address labels (the kind that come 30 to a sheet), then wrap the label around Hershey chocolate nuggets!

Supplies: Bud Basics, Basics Jumbo Wheel, Whisper White cardstock, Orchid Opulence Classic Ink Pad, Pink Passion Classic Ink Pad, Green Galore Classic Ink Pad, Rectangle Hole Punch, Orchid Opulence Grosgrain Ribbon, Paper Cutter with Scoring Blade

Directions:
  1. Start with a half sheet of Whisper White cardstock (8 1/2" x 5 1/2"). Decorate one side with any Stampin’ Around Wheel. (Also use the wheel to roll 5 blank address labels to put over Hershey Nuggets to go in the box.)
  2. Using the Scoring Blade on your Paper Cutter, score the cardstock at 2”, 4”, 6”, and 8”.
  3. Turn the cardstock lengthwise and score once more at 2".
  4. Cut the score lines on the shorter end up to the 2" score line you made in step 3. These flaps will become the bottom of your container. (You can completely cut off the small flap on the end.)
  5. Put SNAIL adhesive or Sticky Strip on the side flap and 3 of the 4 bottom flaps and assemble the box.
  6. Pinch the sides of the box closed and use the Rectangle Hole Punch on each side to create notches for the ribbon.
  7. Tie a bow in a coordinating grosgrain ribbon.
  8. Stamp a 1” square for the tag and adhere it to a coordinating piece of colored. The cardstock should be 1 1/2" x 3" -- fold it in half.
  9. Use the rectangle punch in the top corner of the tag at a diagonal. Cut a slit from the corner to the rectangle so you can slide the tag into the ribbon.

Round Tab Window Card

What a nice surprise to come home from the cruise and find one of my cards posted on Stamper's Showcase (#8503). Stamper's Showcase is one of my favorite features of the demonstrator website because every day, 6-8 new projects made by demonstrators are featured on the showcase. You can look at it each day or go back and search by stamp set name. It's a fabulous resource for ideas, and I check it religiously every day.

Did you notice -- I didn't use ANY stamps on this card!? The sentiment is a rub-on (from the Sale-a-bration series Love & Happiness). Using rub-ons on ribbon is a piece of cake. They go right on and still look crisp and clean.

Supplies: Love & Happiness Rub-Ons (SAB), Soft Sky & Whisper White cardstock, Fall Flowers Designer Series Paper, Accents & Elements: Flower Fusion, White grosgrain ribbon, Fire Rhinestone Brads, Scallop Circle Punch, Round Tab Punch, Metal Edge Tags

Directions:
Start with a 6" x 6" piece of textured Soft Sky cardstock and fold in half. Insert the Round Tab Punch on the top of the card, centered the top of card front. Punch.

Turn the card and insert the Round Tab Punch again from the side, over the area you just punched. (See photo.) Line up the curve of the round tab on Punch with the edges of the round tab on the cardstock. Punch.

  • The result is a 2" Circle window at the top of your card.

  • Adhere a 3x3 piece of Designer Series paper to the bottom of the card front. Adhere ribbon with SNAIL above the paper.
  • Choose an appropriate greeting from the Love & Happiness Rub-Ons. Cut out the greeting from the sheet. Remove the paper backing and place on the ribbon. Gently rub over the sheet with the provided popsicle stick to transfer the rub-on to the ribbon. Gently peel back the rub-on paper.

For the center embellishment, layer the large olive flower from the Flower Fusion Accents & Elements Tin on a small Metal Edge Tag and ands adhere together using a large brad from the Fire Rhinestone Brads. Attach with dimensionals to a white Scallop Circle and adhere this to the inside of the card.
